SmartOtels agreement with Uppala Villas & Resorts, Bali

Joaquin Cababie of SmartOtels signs an agreement with Tommy A. Soetrisno of Uppala Villas & Resorts, Bali

SmartOtels signed an agreement over the weekend to represent Uppala Villas & Resorts, Bali, Indonesia exclusively for sales in the U.K. and certain European markets.  This currently concerns the two existing properties – the luxury Uppala Villas and Spa, Umalas and mid-market Uppala Villas Seminyak.  Both properties are strategically located in North Kuta, Bali and provide very spacious villas with excellent amenities that include a private pool for each villa.

A tropical island just 8 degrees south of the Equator, Bali is, of course, a popular destination for U.K. and European tourists looking for something really special away from longer established destinations.  The central part of the island includes a thriving business district and the island attracts long stay corporate and expatriate business as well as shorter term tourist stays.

Joaquin Cababie, co-founder and COO of SmartOtels said: “We are delighted to have been able to form a partnership with Uppala Villas & Resorts with these newly opened properties which give us good inventory and excellent rates for SmartOtels to offer exclusively to tour operators and niche agents in the U.K., Italy and Spain.  These are excellent quality and value resorts with strong appeal to both leisure and corporate clients in those markets.”

Matthew Brooks, co-founder and CEO of Smartotels added: “Bringing a strong partner on board in Bali is a strategic move which will complement very well the further properties we expect to finalise agreements with across the South East Asia region in the next few weeks following Joaquin’s extensive tour of the region.  I am particularly delighted that we have been able to announce this agreement in time for World Travel Market, taking place here in London, which will be the fourth major travel trade event attended by SmartOtels in just a few weeks.”

Joaquin will be staying on in Bangkok, Thailand for a few weeks more to finalise agreements with resorts and hoteliers already seen whilst Matthew and Joaquin both get sales under way  from across Europe for a our latest partner.  Expect more exciting news from SmartOtels very soon!
